Hey Tweed Peeps,

Many of us in the Tweed care about our beautiful natural environment, so we think it’s relevant to tell you about an important film that’s screening next week. Created by award-winning Northern Rivers documentary filmmaker Jeff Canin, 2 Degrees was shot over three years in 15 countries and delivers two fundamental messages: Governments are not going to implement the severe carbon emission reductions the science demands without massive public pressure, and it is up to communities to engage in positive environmental action if we want progress on climate change. This inspiring and important film is a must-see for those who care about climate change. It is screening at the Byron Bay Community Centre at 7.30pm, Monday 3rd March. Find out more about the film and book tickets here.

The audience are treated to a crackling two acts that take an honest and humorous look at issues not often acknowledged in families, such as the way we handle sex, death and each other.
